How voters feel about Trump
The Democrats have been so thrown off kilter by President Trump’s rapid actions that their fallback response has been to double down on failure and hope that it works this time. Signs are that it’s not.
Axios (hardly a Trump-friendly outlet) conducted two focus groups of 11 voters in the critical swing state of Arizona who backed Biden in 2020 but switched to Trump in 2024. It found that eight of the 11 voters back what Elon Musk is doing, and all approve of Trump’s rapid, aggressive changes and executive orders. They view it as him having to “clean house” after Biden’s big mess, and they’re fine with him getting a quick start by doing as much as possible via executive orders because “government action (takes) forever.”
Bottom line: The Dems are not going to win back voters by attacking Trump for doing exactly what he said he would do that convinced them to vote for him in the first place.
California voters please take note
Priorities! It was reported that this year, California is on track to spend $9.5 billion providing free health care to illegal immigrants. In 2023-2024, California spent $3 billion on wildfire prevention.

That didn’t take long
It’s been only two weeks since the Democratic Party inexplicably elected obnoxious anti-gun radical David Hogg as DNC Vice Chair, and he’s already accused of misusing his position to enrich himself. So we were wrong: He really is going to fit right in.

Races we are watching, but haven’t made an endorsement yet:
ARIZONA: The Arizona Governor’s Race where President Trump has endorsed a candidate. To research who we supported in Arizona in 2024, go here: https://www.huckpac.com/az/
CALIFORNIA: The California Governor’s race where Sheriff Chad Bianco, a critic of Governor Newsom (Who isn’t!?!) is hinting at running. To see who we endorsed in California in 2024, go here: https://www.huckpac.com/ca/
MINNESOTA: The Minnesota U.S. Senate race where the Democrat incumbent Tina Smith is retiring. Kamala Harris won the state by 4.2 percentage points, and you would think this might be a tough state for Republicans, but the Democrats sound like they are about to have a primary. To see who we endorsed in Minnesota in 2024, go here: https://www.huckpac.com/mn/
ALSO, press reports indicate Governor Brian Kemp is considering running against Senator Jon Ossoff, Michigan Congressman John James is considering a run for Governor in his home state.
Kash Patel FBI Nomination moves forward
Tuesday evening, the Senate voted 48-45 on party lines to invoke cloture and advance the nomination of Kash Patel to head the FBI. It came after wavering GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy decided to support him. His nomination is now set for a full Senate vote next week. Just think about how much easier these votes would be if we picked up the open Michigan and Minnesota Senate seats we mentioned above!
