The GOP’s problem is not only policy. It is message discipline under hostile fire. Democrats get narrative armor. Republicans get ambush journalism and have no cushion. Democrats can lie, fail, flip-flop, nominate degenerates, botch elections, wreck cities, and still get carried by a press corps that is roughly 10% Republican, 65% Democrat, and 25% Communist.

That means every candidate, county chair, PAC, surrogate, and activist must hammer the same simple case: we secure borders, protect babies, cut waste, back police, defend workers, stop fraud, and keep radicals away from your children, wallet, church, and neighborhood. California’s ballot circus, Maine’s Platner filth, Texas Democrats crying “suppression,” and New Jersey voter-roll rot are all one story: the Left needs chaos because it cannot win clean. Say it plainly. Say it daily.

OHHH YES ... you certainly have all that RIGHT !!!

Yes the republicans need to make their case. Unfortunately they have the insatiable desire to allow the democrats to make theirs. Too bad we have a party with a lackadaisal attitude. They have no fight in themselves. No wonder our country is in such a mess.

I sometimes wonder too. Just whose side are the heads of the RNC on? To me they are pretty quiet on this topic? (and others).

William Lomax's avatar

YES, the newest 'official' head of the RNC does seem to be doing a failing grade of effort, not like the last 24' co-head of the RNC, Lara Trump.

Thank you. Surprise Surprise 😳…..Nope not hardly. I wondered about organizing a volunteer army to permanently move into Los Angeles to replace and repair all the damage.. I knew however that I would never be able to find enough folks who would be willing to move permanently into such a decaying festering rotten dirty corrupt unhealthy garbage dump. Even the surf 🏄‍♀️ is covered with scum. 🤨

I really believe that there is no hope for California! I feel sorry for the good people that desperately vote for change but as long as the demonrat”s cheat machine is running in high gear, there is no hope 😞

Is it too late to give it back to Mexico? (if they would take it back that is ).

Maybe a Global Auction?

I am seriously disappointed in the Republican Party. I will continue to vote Republican. But all they are doing is sitting on their do nothings. They need to get out there in everyone’s faces just like the libtards. Speak up, fight for the people. Don’t let evil take over!

When RINO's do not come through, it allows Democrats to talk like Republicans.

RE; " The Republicans need to make the case".

I fully believe that the Russian Author Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn already did that years ago.

All the Republicans need to do is plagiarize him.

how many candidates Huck supported won?

Makes me wonder how "bad" a candidate has to be before democrats would Not support them..Platner is awful but they also defend the illegal criminals. Just how Bad? or inhuman?

Jackie Smith's avatar

Go to the website I posted, then go to endorsements. Then scroll down to your state and the endorsement wins and losses and amounts contributed are posted. not the easiest site to navigate but the info is there. Wins and losses are by each state and no grand total for the nation. At least no national totals I could find.

HP has glommed onto the frustration Conservatives have held for YEARS with the RNC and its "republican" (ie: RINO) politicians. It is why we are FED UP with republican politicians and the RNC and their equivocating, compromising and conciliation with the evil Left (which is the foundational ideology of the democrat party--Leftist/Marxist evilism). How hard can it be to come up with a proactive, courageous, forthright and fully truthful message of all that has been accomplished in just over a year for the betterment of our Union? The historic, positive accomplishments abound! But evidently, it must be very difficult for the mewling and puking republican and RNC consiglieri. Disgraceful. Yield the field to those with the courage to face down and defeat evil.

Regarding the pm Edition, and the argument made for "touting accomplishments" by the republican party in order to "win" in the midterms and I understand the logic, but I'm not sure the argument is grounded in reality. Consider some republican "achievements or position" versus the reality of the voter. 1) The Iran conflict, quick in an out no boots on the ground, could have been done months ago, now exceeding five months with huge committed resources, a president who says he's not in a hurry, and appears willing to negotiate away a core objective of eliminating a terrorist regime. Not exactly an easy sell to an anti war liberal or a conservative Israel supporter. 2) The administrations return to immigration enforcement has achieved significant border success while tolerating broad (mostly democratic and judicial) abuse of federal law. While we don't see the numbers (voluntary paid removals versus deportations) I'm not sure the statistics would excite many voters to the cause. 3) The tariff initiative which started strong with hints of "citizen payouts" and significant foreign investments into the US, has been turned into a contributor to inflation and a serious question as to how much of the foreign investments are still alive given that many of the tariff's are dead. 4) The DOGE waste and fraud was another big winner (at the start) with almost no actual report card as to what was accomplished. Another potential "citizen payout" opportunity that never materialized the media revelations are damming but mostly without reportable accountability. 5) Economic achievements are much better then the democrats will admit but the consumer feels gas prices at the pump more then statistics. In general the health of the economy is a long term benefit while the voter is primarily interested in short term results. Like the foreign investment scenario (to whatever extent that still exists) the benefits are long term while the voter wants to know what you will "give him today", hence the appeal of the socialist liberal democratic program. Don't get me wrong, I think that for the informed voter the republicans have the message for the most part, but what does the audience now consist of? The tax plan was the most significant win but that does not alter the fact that taxes in general are onerous. It's a little like pointing out that gas is not yet as expensive as when Biden was president. That means little when it's expensive and could be lower if the Iran war had been concluded three months ago. 6) Finally, there is the overall disfunction of the republican party. Trump stands for some great things, the party not so much. They blame much of this on the small Congressional majority but the party facilitated that by accepting RINO's into the fold (wolves in sheep's clothing) decades ago, to say noting of TDS itself. If you can make a strong voter changing case out of this you're welcome to try, because I can't.

It has been said (and I agree) that "He who slings mud loses ground." I see way too many negative campaign ads trying to tell me what's wrong with the other candidate. Most of the time I already know what is wrong with the other candidate; what I want to know is how [you] propose to fix the problems with have in DC and Sacramento. Let's get back to making the case for the candidates we want to vote FOR, not the ones we want to vote agains.
