Rhode Island Senator watch
A watchdog group, the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), is asking the Senate Ethics Committee to investigate whether Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehead violated conflict of interest laws. His wife Sanda is the head of an environmental group that’s received over $14.2 million in grants since 2008, some of it from bills that Whitehead voted for.
In 2026, Senator Whitehead isn’t up for re-election, but Jack Reed is. Huck PAC has never invested in a Rhode Island candidate before, mainly because of their stances on Life (they tend to be pro-abortion), but we are open to it if they are pro-life!

Maine’s Governor defies Trump ban
Democrats just keep picking incredibly unpopular hills to take a stand and die on. Despite polls showing over 70% of Americans oppose allowing biological males to compete in girls’ sports, Maine defied the Trump ban and allowed a “trans-identifying” high school athlete to win first place in a girls’ high school pole vaulting competition. Just last year, he’d competed as a male against other males and came in fifth.
Friday, during a gathering of Governors at the White House, President Trump got into an exchange with Maine’s Democrat Gov. Janet Mills, who is defying his order. She claimed she was following state and federal law (Fact check: the second part of that is definitely not true) and told him she would see him in court. Trump replied, “Good, I’ll see you in court. I look forward to that. That should be a real easy one. And enjoy your life after Governor, because I don’t think you’ll be in elected politics.”
On Friday, the Education Department’s office on civil rights launched an investigation into Maine’s defiance of Trump’s Title IX order protecting female athletes, putting $250 million in federal funds to Maine at risk. That's a lot of money to risk protecting a pole vault cheater.
We’ll just remind everyone that Democrats who are defending the Department of Education thought it was a great idea to use federal education funds to get local schools to do what the President wanted --- when THEY were in the White House. You know, like when Biden ordered them to allow male athletes to beat up girls and steal their trophies and scholarships…
2024 NOTE: Huck PAC supported Austin Theriault for Congress in Maine’s 2nd congressional district, but he lost in a very close race. https://www.huckpac.com/me/
Races we are watching, but haven’t endorsed in yet
FLORIDA: President Trump endorsed Congressman Byron Donalds to replace term limited Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Congressman Donalds announced he is running Tuesday night.
KENTUCKY: Senator Mitch McConnell announced he will not seek re-election. Huck PAC endorsed Daniel Cameron (he ran for Governor and lost, last cycle) is considering a run, as is Congressman Andy Barr (also Huck PAC endorsed).
OHIO: Vivek Ramaswamy announced his campaign for Ohio Governor. He is endorsed by President Trump.
Important Message to Any Readers in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania:
There are state Supreme Court elections coming up that are getting almost no national media attention. But they’re getting a ton of funding from Soros-backed leftist groups, the same type who fund criminal-coddling district attorney candidates. They hope to elect leftist judges who will oversee the redrawing of Congressional districts to gerrymander the Democrats back into power in the House in 2026. There are also lots of DA and sheriff’s races in the balance.
They know that turnout in such off-year elections is historically low, and they hope to take advantage of that by stealing these offices. DO NOT LET THEM! Get out and vote!
Thank you, Congressman Hurd!

Possible election fraud in Ohio
After an investigation of the “progressive voter registration group” Black Fork Strategies, the Ohio Secretary of State has sent evidence of possible election fraud to prosecutors in 20 counties. BFS has boasted of registering over 125,000 voters in Ohio since 2018, but suspicions were raised by some of their registration forms. They included a registration in the name “Henry Kissinger” with no other details that matched state records, and a stack of forms an inch thick that all had the same handwriting, which matched that of the BFS operative who allegedly collected them.

One member of the Hamilton County Board of Elections said, “First thing I want to point out is that we use words like ‘anomalies’ and ‘suspicion’ and everything else because we try to be PC, I guess. But this is fraud! This is outright fraudulent behavior! Who’s responsible, and how are they responsible?...That’ll be up to somebody other than me. But it’s plain and obvious to me when you get this many registration cards with the very same handwriting that someone is trying to defraud the elections process in Hamilton County. So, to the extent that there’s any press watching, voter fraud is real! It does happen. It happens oftentimes in the form of phony registrations, all in the same handwriting. So that happens.”
We're shocked. We've been assured by all the smartest people that voter fraud never happens.
